I'm procrastinating.

I am supposed to be working on my 50,000 word novel but, well, when you put it that way, it sure sounds insurmountable, huh? Especially when you compare it to the measly 1800 words I've written so far Tongue

I hate descriptions. The worst part of any book are the descriptions. You know, the "He was a tall young man with reddish brown hair and a small goatee. His straight nose, clear blue eyes and thick, expressive eyebrows were not what most would call handsome, but he was not unpleasant to look at" type of descriptions. I like reading them, but I hate having to write them. Just get past explaining the characters and get to the good part already!
Ok, I'm done ranting.

I just recently discovered that I have been complaining most of the day. I am sick, and I am almost never sick. Therefore, when I am sick, I am miserable. And I tend to talk often about how miserable I am. Then I need to apologize.

There is a station on Pandora called Bluegrassy Instrumental. I just discovered that today. I like that station Laughing out loud

If I do not feel significantly better by tomorrow, I think I shall have to miss church. I hate missing church. But there I go, complaining again. I'm sorry. I'll just have to use my extra time to finish memorizing Psalm 34.

I recently read a most excellent book. It was called The Secret Adversary and was written by Agatha Christie but it was unlike any of her books that I had read before. First of all, it wasn't a murder mystery. Second, it did not have Miss Marple or Hercule Poirot in it. Much as I like both of them, (although Miss Marple is infinitely better, IMO) I really very much enjoyed this book. Especially since I knew who had done it from the start *pats self on back*

I like having friends. They make the world such a much happier place. I also like praying for my friends, and knowing they are praying for me. I think that's probably the best part about having friends. They encourage you so much. The only thing I hate about it is that most of my friends live far away. But you already knew that, didn't you, my reader? Tongue

I wonder how many people actually read my blog?

I just re-read my blog. If it's not a deep blog, I would never recommend doing that. I just did, and now I'm contemplating deleting all the silly things I've said. But, I'm tired, so I don't think I will. Besides, maybe it will make you laugh.

Ok. Back to my story. Ya know... it's a lot easier to read a mystery story than it is to write one.

Weirdo!

Weirdo!

Procrastinating...

... and here I thought I was just procrastinating to read this so long after it was written. Sadly it looks like I won't really be able to finish NaNoWriMo this year, which is a shame because I've already figured out a good story line.

Ah, that is a shame. I think

Ah, that is a shame. I think I either need a new story line, or I need to give up. Maybe I'll develop a good story line this year, and then by next year I'll be able to finish Tongue
